Some updates on what’s been going on!

Posted in Uncategorized on August 15, 2008 by alanadaylocke

Wow I cannot believe it has been so long since my last journal entry! I am so sorry, please forgive my laziness. Honestly I have been grounded a lot! LOL I still am but my mom is letting me do this since it has been so long since my last entry.

Well I am very excited as Raphy gets to come visit me next week so I can’t wait for that! School started this week and its going really well. I am doing pre-algebra and it’s pretty easy so far but I think my music and art classes will be my fave. I am also starting voice lessons because I want to start a Christian rock band.

I also want to answer some of the questions from the fan-site. I have never been to Australia but would so love to go! Actually I have never been out of the country. I have my passport but have not been anywhere yet. Do I play sports? I play baseball, softball and soccer. I will be running track this year too. I really look forward to that.

Ok about “In the Electric Mist” it’s either coming out this fall or spring 09’; they are just trying to find the right place for it to come out. I just wished they would hurry! From what I understand it is completely done and it’s just a waiting game. Also I am meeting with a French director in October about a movie that I was asked to take part in and it sounds like fun. I really want to do it because I will get to work my friend Heather from Impressions that will be finally done soon! YAY

People are asking when will you work again?!? Well because I home school we are having trouble getting my work permit for California. Things are way different out here than it was on the east coast. LOL I should be able to start going out on auditions soon so bare with me! Plus when “In the Electric Mist” does come out things will hopefully pick up!

Well I love you all and take care!

Love Always,

Alana

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Posted in Uncategorized on April 20, 2008 by alanadaylocke

Hey all!

Wow it has been a long time since I last wrote and I am so sorry! (Won€™t happen again) Well things are slowly coming for my fan wall so expect pictures coming soon. I wished I could say I was busy with work but with school and being sick 2 times in a month can really mess ya over!

I really wanted to write because Christmas is my most favorite time of the year and I wanted to share some of our family traditions and fun times with all of you. Well after Thanksgiving dinner we always put up the Christmas tree and every other year my mom lets my dad do his Dallas Cowboy tree. This is the year of the Cowboys but my dad is the only one who puts the star on top. Why, I don€™t know that just how he rolls as he tells us! Plus after Thanksgiving we only listen to Christmas music in the car (unless my dad is not in the car! LOL).

On Christmas Eve we all get dressed up and we have a formal Christmas dinner. We have never been rich and even in years that we couldn€™t afford a big Christmas we would still always get dressed up for our fancy dinner. We also get to open up one present on Christmas Eve and then save the rest for in the morning. We always have like little donuts and chocolate milk for breakfast. YUM! Then we snack on leftovers >from the night before while watching all the football games. Well my dad and brother watch all the games! I help my mom clean up from all the ripping of wrapping paper all over the house.

New Years Eve is my parents wedding anniversary but they always make it home from their €œdate€ to wake us up to watch the ball drop on tv. On New Year€™s Day more football and we eat black eyed peas, I€™m not sure why but we do! LOL

I have been really blessed this year and so have you if you think about it but the most important thing to remember is that Jesus is the Reason for the Season!

Love you all and I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I am so sorry for taking so long to write!

I wanted to say thank you again to Raphy for such a great site! You are really talented.

Well I have been busy lately with traveling from ATL to North Carolina to Miami and will be traveling back to ATL this week to see my acting coach who is the best! Then it’s off to San Antonio! That is going to be so much fun shooting the short film for Carl (he said I can’t call him Mr.). My brother Greyson is going too and were going to see the Alamo and the Riverwalk it’s just going to be great! I can’t wait.

I promise not to wait so long to write again!

Take Care and Much Love,

Alana

Happy Holiday!

Posted in Uncategorized on July 2, 2007 by alanadaylocke

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to wish everyone a happy 4th of July. We are going to have a quiet bbq here at the house with just friends and family. I said that I was going to take the summer off but… I have decided to take a role in a very special short film that I will be shooting in my dads home state of Texas. So it will be fun going to San Antonio and seeing the River Walk and the Alamo! The short film is called “Impressions” and it will be the hardest role I have ever done. Not a lot of lines but a lot of emotional stuff and its harder to do cause you have to come off as real and believable. I hope I am up too it. It will be shown in festivals all over the world and it might even get submitted to Sundance! I am not sure what that means! LOL but my dad said its very cool!

I am also doing a musical for our church for VBS and I will going to Atlanta in a few weeks to be videoed so that an agent in LA can start sending me out for jobs out there. I am so excited because I love LA!

Well I hope you all have a great holiday and I will talk to you all later!

Love,

Alana

Back home from the set

Posted in Uncategorized on June 23, 2007 by alanadaylocke

Wow am I tired!

We got home last night at midnight and friends and family have been here all day so no rest!

The movie finished shooting today in New Orleans and it will be off to editing and my dad was told that it will be done by November and it will be up to the distributors for when it will be released.

It was such a great experience and I learned so much from everyone. I cannot wait to see them again when we have the premiere.

It was cool to have my brother with me for my last week of shooting. He looked for snakes mostly while on set! We took him to see the alligators and the Tabasco factory. He had a great time. On the way home we went to New Orleans and had a great time. It was very sad to see all the homes still destroyed >from the hurricane. So many people still living in those little trailers. Then we stopped off in Mobile Alabama and saw the U.S.S. Alabama it’s a battleship >from WW II it was so cool and huge!

My dad has finally been able to post the pictures from the set and >from our little outings so hopefully they will be posted here soon…

Well I am off to bed!

Take Care

Love,

Alana

New family member!!:D

Hi all,

Wow what a busy time since I that wrote!

I had a great time shooting the film, it was sad to leave this time because I knew I wouldn’t see some of the cast when I go back in a few weeks. I will miss Peter and Mary the most, they are just incredible people. On my last day of shooting I did get to have fun with Kelly driving around the set on the gators! She drove me too lunch and she let me drive her back to our trailers. It was great and I love her Scottish accent. I was super stoked cause Peter’s wife Maggie is in London right now shooting the new Batman movie, I love Batman. My dad has some amazing pictures but I cannot share them with you until the shooting raps.

The real excitement happened when I got home!

As soon as we got home on Thursday my dad had to take my mom to the hospital and on Friday June 1st my new baby brother was born!

His name is “Keegan O’young Locke” he was 8 lbs. and 0 oz. and 20 1/2″ long. His middle name is Korean it was my Great-Grandfathers name. It’s Sunday and he just got home and I’m going to take a nap while he is sleeping! LOL

I don’t get much time off I am doing a commercial and print work for a resort in Orlando this week so that will be fun kickin’ it poolside!

Well take care and talk to ya real soon!’

Love,

Alana

Hey Fans, Alana here:)

I first want to thank Raphaela and Hollie for building this beautiful fan site for me.

Well this is my first journal entry so here we go!

I’m here in New Iberia, Louisiana at my hotel room and watching Twister on HBO. I got finished shooting early last night and by early I mean by midnight! It looks like I will be having another late night of shooting tonight but it’s cool cause I am working with awesome people and the crew is so nice. Tonight I get to work with Tommy Lee Jones (my dad), Mary Steenburgen (my mom) and Peter Sarrsgard (Elrod Sykes). Everyone is great and it’s awesome because I am getting to learn from some of the best.

We have had some excitement while we have been here. My dad almost got bit by an alligator! That was hilarious, sorry dad but it was. We were visiting Jungle Gardens and he was standing too close to the water and almost got nibbled on! Everyday I get to work with raccoons and rabbits so I am just having the best time. Plus the director gave me a bunny which I named Kee Kee. She is so beautiful and small.

The people here in this town have been so nice to me and my new fave sushi place Bojangles! If you come to New Iberia you have to go there for some great food! The dragon roll rocks!

Well we are about to be picked up and taken to set so take care and God Bless!

Love,

Alana
